Student card discounts in Pakistan — complete 2026 guide

How university ID discounts work, which cities and campuses are covered, and how to find deals for IoBM, LUMS, NUST, UCP, and more.

Not the same as bank card portals

University student discounts are informal partnerships — restaurants post on Instagram, campuses publish PDF partner lists, or alumni offices maintain web pages. There is no national student-discount database like HBL's card portal.

Pak Bank Hub aggregates public posts where a merchant name and percentage are clear. We cover ten universities including IoBM, LUMS, IBA, SZABIST, IQRA, NUST (Islamabad and Signals), UCP, University of Lahore, and Lahore School of Economics.

What ID to bring

Current-semester student cards work at most outlets. Some Islamabad campus posts accept faculty and alumni too (e.g. Mastara Bites & Bubbles with IQRA). Social posts that say 'NUSTians' usually mean any NUST campus student with valid ID.

Photocopies rarely work — carry the physical card. For Instagram-discovered offers, show the post if staff have not seen the promotion before.

Karachi vs Lahore vs Islamabad

Karachi-heavy: IoBM OffCampus partners, IQRA social posts, IBA alumni merchants. Lahore: UCP, UOL, LSE plus shared outlets like The Fat Boy (multi-university 15% bill discount). Islamabad/Rawalpindi: NUST official posts for China Town & Jade Cafe, Rendezvous Xpress, WrapLab, and similar.

Accuracy and reporting errors

Student offers expire fastest — semester campaigns end without a website update. If a merchant refuses a listed deal, use our contact form with the outlet name and date. We use reports when refreshing scrapes.

Quick tips

  • Pick your university tile on the student discounts page to avoid cross-campus noise.
  • Bank card deals and student ID deals rarely stack — choose one.
  • Official partner pages (IoBM, LUMS, IBA) are more stable than one-off Instagram reels.
